Places Spaces Faces: A Photo Exhibit by Mikey Dionora

I had the honor of documenting my best friend's first ever solo exhibit at Ginhawa Art Cafe for his 25th birthday. Only close friends and family were invited on the opening day but the exhibit lasted for a whole month. All of the photos in the exhibit were up for sale and all proceeds went to his school of choice.



I know that this exhibit meant so much to Mikey and I couldn't express how proud I am of him for finally putting up an exhibit of his own. He had to learn things in photography the hard way - started shooting with borrowed camera and lens, traveled weekly to improve his portfolio, and attended numerous workshops and seminars in travel photography to always improve his craft. That's what I really like about him - he's always trying to improve himself in all aspects of his life. Now, he has his own camera, is quite well-off to fund his travels, and has a very eye-pleasing portfolio in travel and landscape photography. This will definitely not be the last exhibit that we'll see from him so watch out for his next solo exhibit!
